This better articulated version of 4-LOM is equipped with a long-barreled blaster rifle. 4-LOM is a slender, dark-hued, heavily weathered protocol droid reprogrammed by Jabbaâs technicians into a kill-ready bounty hunter unit; 4-LOM, hence, is somewhat tougher than C-3PO. His insectoid head, complete with enlarge green-faceted eyes, gives him an ominous appearance. 4-LOMâs heightened speed and intelligence assisted him well as a bounty hunter. He was eventually partnered with the Gand bounty hunter Zuckass, and became obsessed with gleaning the latterâs uncanny power of intuition. 4-LOM and Zuckass were gathered among their fellow bounty hunters aboard the Executor when Darth Vader announced the Millenium Falcon bounty.
